Louisiana evacuees should stay away for at least a week to avoid "a wilderness" without power or drinking water that will be infested with poisonous snakes and fire ants, state officials warned Monday.
That paragraph scares the crap out of me. If I lived in Lousiana and I read that I would probably never go home again.
This guy called in to some channel this morning and said that, during Camille, a bunch of people went to high ground to escape the flooding but then were killed because all the poisonous snakes went to high ground too. That's scary.
