I can't get rid of this stupid winfixer/winantivirus/TrojanVundo spyware crap!! I've used SpySweeper, Norton, TrendMicro Housecalls & Fix Vundo. They all say they got rid of it and then there the stupid popups are again. I'm running Panda Activescan now but I don't have high hopes.
Stupid spyware. What am I paying Norton and SpySweeper for if they're just going to tell me they fixed something when they didn't. Stupid Norton and SpySweeper. Stupid computer. I swear life was easier before I got one.

Try going into your Temporary Internet Files and clearing them all out.
Download free AVG and Ad-Aware (links here ) and run both of them.
SpyBot is also free, but trickier to use.
There is also a free program called HiJack This, but you need someone who is REALLY in the know, to understand the data. I did use it once a long time ago and went to a computer geek forum that had experts who could tell me what registry files were spyware and should be deleted.
